This position is responsible for overseeing the company’s financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, financial reporting, internal controls, and compliance. This role ensures accuracy in financial documentation, supports strategic financial planning, and provides leadership to the accounting team.Your Role in Our Mission:
  • Oversee and manage the accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
  • Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
  • Lead the budgeting and forecasting process in collaboration with department heads.
  • Maintain and improve internal controls to safeguard company assets.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory and tax requirements.
  • Coordinate audits and liaise with external auditors and tax advisors.
  • Provide strategic financial input to executive management.
  • Supervise and mentor accounting staff, promoting professional development.
  • Assist in developing financial models and business performance metrics.
  • Implement systems and procedures to improve financial management and operational efficiency.
  • Produces and manages balance sheets and analyzes future earnings and expenses.
  • Works to reconcile accounting inaccuracies or imbalances.
  • Use accounting software to maintain records and prepare reports.
  • Delegates accounting tasks to accounting staff.
  • Assists in implementation and maintenance of Epicor software.
To Perform this Job Successfully:
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field.
  • At least 5+ years of experience in accounting with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
  • CPA preferred but not required.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls.
  • Familiarity with Excel and Office products.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Strong leadership and communication abilities.
