- Lead and manage audit engagements for public and nonpublic companies, ensuring compliance with PCAOB and GAAS standards and SEC regulations
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining strong relationships and delivering exceptional client service
- Provide engagement quality control reviews for other firm's clients
- Oversee and ensure the quality of audit work performed for public and nonpublic company clients
- Lead audit planning and execution processes, ensuring effective risk management and quality assurance
- Address and resolve significant audit issues, including complex technical accounting issues, during engagements
- Mentor, develop, and lead a team of audit professionals, ensuring high-quality performance, strong technical skills, and professional development
- Work closely with audit partners and directors to ensure seamless integration of audit services and to promote a collaborative team environment
- Stay current with PCAOB, SEC, and other regulatory changes affecting public companies, providing clients and the firm with timely updates and guidance
- Identify and develop new business opportunities with existing and prospective clients, focusing on growing the client base
- Special projects, as needed
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting required, CPA certification required
- 10+ years of public accounting, with current experience in PCAOB audits
- Strong Excel skills required
- Excellent analytical skills
- Solid critical thinking and attention to detail
- Strong planning and organization skills and understanding of the importance of deadlines
- Superb communications skills required
