Donor and Grants Engagement Associate

- Support the planning and execution of donor cultivation activities, including small events, tours, and engagement opportunities.
- Conduct prospect research on individuals and corporate donors to inform cultivation strategies and support pipeline development.
- Maintain and update donor information, contact history, and engagement notes in the CRM system, ensuring data accuracy and segmentation readiness.
- Proactively reach out to prospective donors and corporate contacts via email or phone to schedule introductory meetings with the Chief Advancement Officer or other senior leaders
- Coordinate logistics for donor meetings and prepare briefing materials to support donor cultivation and relationship-building efforts.
- Research prospective funders, including foundations and corporate sponsors.
- Assist in preparing grant proposals and supporting documents under the direction of the Senior Grant Writer
- Track deadlines and deliverables using the internal grants calendar
- Organize files and ensure accurate recordkeeping of submissions and reports.
- Help gather data and program information for grant reports.
- Participate in Advancement team meetings and planning sessions
- Maintain organized internal filing systems and boilerplate content
- Assist with interdepartmental collaboration as needed
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- 1–2 years of experience in fundraising, development, or nonprofit administration
- Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills
- Organized, deadline-oriented, and self-directed
- Comfort working with Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace
- Familiarity with donor databases
- Basic understanding of grant proposal components
- Experience supporting fundraising campaigns or stewardship activities
- Interest in building a career in nonprofit development or communications
