- Gathers and Maintains equipment submittals and other project documents as required.
- Ensure that all project contract documentation is up to date and accurate, including project Scope, plans, specifications reports, and other project-related documents.
- Can recognize changes to scope of work, scheduling, and other jobsite factors that impact LONG productivity and profitability and through working with Sales Team provide corrective measures and proposals to ensure LONG is fairly compensated.
- Monitor the progress of costs incurred on all assigned projects. When costs exceed estimates, determine the reason, corrective action, and notify the appropriate manager and seek corrective actions/planning.
- Directs engineering in submittals and installation drawings, selection, ordering and scheduling of materials and equipment.
- Can view and analyze job reports utilizing company reporting tools and make or take corrective actions as required when necessary.
- Orders equipment based on approved submittals in time to meet installation requirements.
- Monitors installations through regular job site visits to assure progress remains consistent with the estimated costs indicated on the sales estimate and schedule.
- Prepares and maintains project schedules using MS Project software or other approved platform and submit same to the mechanical contractor (to establish TC labor requirements when required) and to the technician supervisor/Manager and/or construction manager (for use in workforce forecasting).
- Schedules personnel, equipment, subcontracting, and material to meet project schedule requirements and ensure projects remain within the estimated costs.
- Participates in work-in-progress meetings and prepares specific information regarding the status of all costs and schedules for projects.
- Coordinates and assists in the training of owner operating personnel.
- Creates partnered account relationships and service sales opportunities.
- Ability to travel to and inspect jobsites and visit customer locations statewide.
- Regularly visits customers and their job sites to create and develop partnered account relationships and sales leads when appropriate.

- 4-year Construction Management Degree or a 2-year technical degree and 2 years Security controls experience (OR) 4 years Commercial Security project management (OR) 6 years Security controls experience
- Knowledge of access control, CCTV, intrusion detection, electronic principles, electrical systems, monitored alarms and engineering, installation, management, and construction procedures
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and with tight deadlines.
- Availability for after-hour consultation and problem-solving on assigned jobs, as necessary.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in MS Office Products (Word, Excel, MS Projects)
- PMP Certification or other project management certification or training is a plus.

- A Project Manager may work indoors or outdoors, depending on the project.
- This work may involve standing for extended periods, climbing ladders or scaffolds, and working in tight spaces.
- Ability to lift 25 lbs. from floor to countertop and countertop to floor.
