- Master's Degree from a school accredited by a recognized accrediting agency in social work, psychology or related field.
- 2 years relevant experience. 1 to 6 years post-master's experience.
- Bachelor's Degree and 4 years of relevant experience may replace the Master's Degree requirement.
- Master's Degree from a nationally accredited university as a behavior analyst, marriage and family therapist, mental health counselor, psychologist, social worker, school psychologist, or psychiatric nurse. LSW, LCSW, LMFT preferred
- Experience in working with parents/caretakers who harmed their children or threatened their children with harm and children who experienced harm or were threatened with harm and who experienced trauma and loss.
- Experience in working with domestic violence, substance abuse, and permanency issues.
- Able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends. Ability to demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills and professionalism. Experience in managing multiple priorities. Good written and verbal skills.
- Assuming or assigning professional responsibility for work completed.
- Ensuring service delivery is performed according to organization's mission statement, policy and procedures and service philosophy.
- Providing in-service training.
- Competent to assess the needs of the participant, resources available to meet those needs and the legal and/or policy requirements governing service delivery.
- Professional leadership.

- The nature of this position requires the incumbent to be on-call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
- This position is subject to a criminal background investigation and continued employment is contingent on a record clear of convictions.
- Continued employment in this position is contingent on successful completion of CPI classes OR other Behavioral Management certification as may be contract-mandated.
- Inside and outside contacts involving difficult negotiations, related to a major division or function, development of networks and development of teamwork. Requires well-developed sense of timing and strategy.
