
Manufacturing Engineer

- Control production process including tooling and equipment to ensure validated state is maintained and output and quality meet production and customer targets.
- Drive improved product quality by identifying manufacturing issues, developing cost-effective solutions, and overseeing successful implementation into production
- Monitor and improve productivity, while ensuring all customer commitments are met in a timely, quality and cost-conscious manner
- In-depth understanding of technical processes and key business drivers; use this understanding to accomplish own work. In-depth understanding of how the work of the team integrates with other teams and contributes to the area and the customer.
- Has access to technical skills and analytic thinking required to solve complex problems. Will often have to collaborate cross-functionally to solve problems and arrive at decisions. Problem Solving Skills are critical to success in this position.
- Ability to document changes per required Change Control processes within the manufacturing operation
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering or related technical degree from an accredited university or college and internship experience that is relevant the skills needed for this role or experience in manufacturing or a high school diploma / GED with at least 6 years of relevant experience in manufacturing.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- The ability to interpret and present data and make data driven decisions and recommend solutions to processes.
- Ability to document, plan, and execute projects. Established project management skills.
- Strong, demonstrated problem-solving skills.
- Experience in Process Intensive manufacturing
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certified
- Prior knowledge of Ceramic Scintillators
- Familiarity with Quality Management Systems and/or work with Medical Devices
- Power BI, SQL and JMP experience
