Local 5 has an immediate opening for a part-time Photographer/Editor on its award winning staff. We are looking for a self-motivated, creative storyteller with strong editing skills. WFRV shoots using Sony PXWX400 and edit on Adobe-Premier Pro.Applicants should have at least 1 year experience. Applicant must have a current, valid driver’s license. This position requires the ability to carry up to 40 pounds, a good driving record and knowledge of libel laws.Education Requirements: College degree or Associated degree in Journalism, Communications, or technical or trade school training in TV news photography preferred or equivalent work experience. Computer literacy a plus.Physical Requirements and Work Environment: Must be able to carry heavy equipment. Able to work outdoors in all kinds of weather conditions.Other Information: Work schedule will include early mornings and weekends, as well as "on‑call" status as determined by management.
