
Sales Coordinator

- Support the needs of the assigned account manager.
- Ensure all orders are entered accurately and promptly.
- Monitor orders to ensure timely shipments.
- Quote all new or existing parts as directed by the customer or Account/Inside Sales manager; utilizing engineering support as needed.
- Follow up on quotes and report findings to Account/Inside Sales manager.
- Proactively contact customers with key information regarding their account.
- Proactively solicit and quote opportunities from target customers.
- Track all sample orders or PPAP requests so they are executed in a timely manner.
- If needed, contact the appropriate plant manager or supervisor to coordinate targeted sales opportunities.
- Process all product return requests.
- Be a point of contact in the absence of the account manager.
- Note trends to account manager and Inside Sales team.
- Share successes with Inside Sales team.
- Bachelor’s degree or five (5) years sales or customer service experience required.
- Professional experience (years and/or industry type) – minimum of 4 years of experience in related role, in manufacturing industry highly preferred.
- People skills – teamwork, adaptability, problem-solving.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills with internal/external stakeholders.
- Possess energy, initiative, enthusiasm, cooperation while exercising good judgement and discretion.
- Ability to manage difficult and/or emotional situations while promptly addressing customer needs to meet deadlines.
- Ability to effectively present pricing information, manufacturing lead-time changes, and other related data to customers.
- Ability to interpret technical information pertaining to engineered products and/or processes specific to customer application requirements.
- Ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously while working independently to meet deadlines.
- Accuracy and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in MS Suite – Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.
- Strong customer focus, communication, decision-making and influencing skills.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
