About the Opportunity:
  • Job Title: Robot Welder Operator
  • Pay Rate Range: $20.00-25.00/Hour
  • Location: Delano, MN
  • Schedule: 1st Shift, Monday-Thursday 6AM-3:30PM & Friday 6AM-10AM, O/T required when needed.
  • Position Type: Temp to Hire
Requirements and Qualifications:1. 1–2-year welding certificate from college or technical school AND/OR 1-2 years prior welding experience in a manufacturing environment2. Strong math skills, visual inspection, and computer literate3. Strong planning, organizing, and time management skills. Able to work collaboratively and/or independently.4. Must be able to interpret and work from prints, work orders, specifications, and verbal direction · Prior experience operating Miller, Fanuc, or Panasonic robot welders a plus.5. Good manual dexterity and ability to use a variety of torches, hand tools, and power tools safely.6. May be required to pass weld testDuties and Responsibilities:1. Load parts in appropriate fixture and run robot welder while maintaining established productivity rates & quality requirements.2. Examine welded sections for defects and perform necessary rework of bad welds.3. Reference prints and work instructions to determine the appropriate materials, tools, resources, and procedures for effectively completing processes.4. Perform in-process quality checks to verify parts meet customer specifications using test fixtures, rulers, micrometers, calipers, etc.5. Perform minor machine adjustments & preventative maintenance.6. Analyze and resolve work problems or assist in solving work problems.7. Work in a safe manner by wearing proper PPE & following all safety procedures/polices.8. Comply with ISO 9001 standards and practices.9. Maintain a clean and efficient workspace.10.
