This is a hands-on, strategic leadership role overseeing a growing team (currently two full-time recruiters and one temporary staff). The ideal candidate will be strong, direct, and results-oriented, with the experience to scale recruiting processes, reduce turnover, and source top-tier candidates who align with the demands of field work and company culture.Key Responsibilities (Summarized)
- Lead, mentor, and drive performance across a team of recruiters
- Oversee full-cycle recruiting strategy, including high-volume hiring and field recruitment
- Partner directly with senior leaders and hiring managers to meet workforce needs
- Design and implement scalable sourcing strategies, including intern and campus recruiting
- Improve hiring outcomes through targeted retention and candidate-fit strategies
- Track and report recruiting metrics and KPIs;optimize use of recruiting tools (Paycom experience is a big plus)
- Manage recruiting systems and stay ahead of market trends to continually evolve strategy
- Strong, direct, and decisive leader
- Comfortable working closely with field teams and adapting to their unique challenges
- High sense of urgency with long-term vision
- Able to take ownership of the entire talent acquisition function

- 5+ years of experience in talent acquisition, including managing teams
- Strong field recruitment background, especially in Utilities, Energy, Environmental Services, Construction, or Infrastructure Maintenance
- Proven success building scalable recruiting strategies and improving retention
- Comfortable being both strategic and hands-on in a fast-paced environment
- Confident and clear communicator, able to partner directly with the CEO and leadership
- Experience with campus recruiting and employer branding efforts
- Strong data and reporting skills (KPIs, time-to-fill, pipeline health, etc.)
- ATS experience required (Paycom strongly preferred)
