- Effectively explains the goals and parameters of the coaching in which the coach and coachee are partnering.
- Ability to focus completely on what the coachee is communicating to understand the coachee's intent in the context of their values and goals.
- Ability to integrate and accurately evaluate multiple sources of information, and to make interpretations that help the coachee to gain awareness.
- Engages in continual self-reflection of their professional practices and how their practices influence the coachee's performance and outcomes.
- Meet regularly with coaching teams to develop action plans and monitor progress of those plans.
- Will incorporate resources as well as the use of video observations for teacher feedback.
- Follow the Professional Development and Collaborative Coaching Policy (ED-03-102).
- Provide reports to the Executive Director of Early Learning Programs and the CEO.
- Maintain CLASS Observation Certification (annually) and obtain TPOT/TPITOS reliability.
- Review with leadership team the annual Practice Based Coaching plan for the organization.
- Promote Early Learning Connections in the community by commonly sharing the responsibility of active recruitment of children.
- Attend all recommended training, meetings and in-service workshops. Maintain up to date PDR and individual training plan.
- Support the program-wide adoption of the teaching pyramid model to promote the development of young children's social-emotional competence and address challenging behavior.
- Create and maintain a positive organizational culture by demonstrating the program-wide behavioral expectations in social interactions with children, families, community members and colleagues.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or designee.
- A minimum of a baccalaureate degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field (1302.91(f))
- One to three years of experience working with children.
- Supervisory experience and experience with low-income children is preferred.
- Ability to frequently move about inside the office to access file cabinets and office machinery.
- Ability to operate a computer or other office equipment, copy machine or computer printer.
- Ability to observe staff and child behavior in a classroom settings.
- Ability to drive between site locations.
