Renewal Unlimited, Inc. is seeking a skilled and compassionate Housing Case Manager to join our housing services team. This opportunity offers a meaningful role in helping low-income families secure and maintain stable housing. The position also includes supervisory responsibilities within the program and is ideal for an experienced professional who thrives in a leadership and service-oriented environment.Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop housing support plans with early intervention strategies to prevent housing instability.
  • Provide proactive support to reduce the risk of eviction through conflict resolution, coaching, and landlord communication.
  • Offer education on tenant and landlord rights and responsibilities.
  • Connect families with community-based resources and services.
  • Support families in developing independent living and household management skills.
  • Serve as liaison to school district homeless liaisons and community partners.
  • Provide relocation assistance and serve as back-up to the Housing Navigator.
  • Supervise staff and ensure service delivery standards are met.
  • Maintain accurate client data in HMIS (Homeless Management Information System).
Qualifications:Required:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work.
  • 1 year of supervisory experience.
  • Knowledge of community resources and housing systems.
  • Trained (or willingness to be trained) in Coordinated Entry, HMIS, motivational interviewing, trauma-informed care, and cultural competency.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and effectively with diverse or high-needs populations.
Preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in homelessness and housing services.
