Advantage Point Group (APG) is seeking to add an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to our team in St. Paul, MN (near the 3M Center).NO RECRUITING OR STAFFING AGENCIES PLEASE!Title: Senior Electrical Engineer, Full Time

Location: St. Paul, MN (near the 3M Center)
Schedule: Mon-Friday, Days, time and a half after 40 hours (optional).Type of Projects: Facilities Design at industrial plants such as lighting systems, power distribution systems, classified areas, clean rooms, construction, data centers, equipment, equipment installations, labs, offices, process lines, restrooms, remodels, and upgrades.Responsibilities:
  • Lead the overall electrical engineering aspects of projects, ensuring the design, analysis, and implementation of electrical systems align with project goals.
  • Develop and review electrical engineering documents, specifications, and plans.
  • Design and oversee the implementation of complex power distribution systems and lighting systems.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and designers.
  • Ensure compliance with electrical codes, standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage and coordinate projects efficiently, balancing delegation and hands-on work.
  • Collaborate with a dynamic multi-disciplinary team to integrate electrical systems into overall project designs.
  • Communicate project status and technical information to stakeholders.
  • Coordinate ARC Flash Studies and collaborate with external engineering subcontractors.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (advanced degrees preferred).
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in electrical engineering for commercial or industrial projects.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office.
  • In-depth knowledge of relevant electrical codes and regulations.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proven leadership abilities with excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and dedication to meeting project deadlines.
