We want you to apply!Job Summary and QualificationsJOB SUMMARYThe Principal IT Change Management Specialist is a subject matter expert on HCA’s Enterprise Application Portfolio Management (APM) Process. As the senior team member, they are responsible for working with leaders to ensure each application request meets governance direction and complies with multiple department requirements. In addition, the role identifies, articulates, and drives change/completion of identified needs to be submitted to the APM process, tools, governance and Steering Committee for enhancements, change requests and optimization. This role requires strong communication skills and a high level of situational confidence. The role must display executive presence, confidence, and critical thinking for APM transformation. The role develops a trusted advisor relationship with key stakeholders including business leadership, ITG leaders, and other department professionals.Duties Include:
  • Responsible for participating and advising on the process workflow for the enterprise.
o Responsible for working with the process engineer and Service Management Organization (SMO) on all activities necessary to support the APM process and its various stages of the lifecycle of an application.o Responsible to assist and lead the adoption, training, communication and education of the APM process.o Assists with, completes, and maintains process maps by streamlining workflows.o Completes requirements and ensures technology supports process flow optimally.o Leverages lean six sigma and industry best practices when developing ideal processes, assessing existing processes for optimization.o Consults with Departments and Divisions on specific needs to offer proposed solutions, and implements appropriately.o Leads and support User Review Groups, as assigned.o Assists with the selection, implementation, change management, integrations, and upgrade of tools selected by the APM Team and has product ownership.
  • Leads the technology decision and roadmap for New Application Requests, Onboarding, Lifecycle and Decommissioning phases of the APM process as directed.
  • Leads the review of application inventory and peer review meetings as assigned.
  • Maintains interim state and future state workflows throughout process evolution by running the process.
o Responsible for evaluating all incoming requests, ensuring triage is completed, and hosting/leading technical assessment meetings.o Responsible for reviewing application intake ensuring information accuracy and working with submitters and improvements.o Helps gather any needed data from ServiceCentral to ensure the APM process can proceed.o Responsible for communication during the intake process.o As a subject matter expert on the APM process, will make sure all requirements are met during each phase of the intake.o Help identify and remove any obstacles for the APM Navigation Team. Escalate issues as necessary.o Develop education to train the APM Process community through knowledge articles and HealthStream presentations.
  • Gathers and submits requirements to the data analytics team for development of reports and dashboards.
o Ensures KPIs/SLAs are implemented and measured.o Holds Enterprise accountable for following defined processes to ensure effectiveness and compliance, and escalates when variances are identified.
  • Supports audit-related inquiries.
  • Develop and distribute Executive Enterprise status reporting.
  • Establishes and maintains strong relationships with ITG leadership, Capability Owners, Business Owners, Enterprise Architecture, Project Management, Information Protection, Finance & Administration, and vendors to mature the application portfolio management content.
o Communicates with end users and other stakeholders through multiple channels.o Develops training for user communities of TPA/APM.
  • Leads and mentors other team members on the Navigator role, processes and recommendations.
  • All other duties as assigned.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Strong knowledge of Information Protection Cyber Risk Management

  • Strong knowledge of Service Now; Application Portfolio Management, preferred
  • Strong knowledge of Lean Six Sigma concepts
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodology and deliverables
  • Strong knowledge of use case analysis and workflow design
  • ITIL Certifications, preferred
  • Experience with budgeting and planning
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office product suite
