
Program Manager - Subcontract Operations

- Serve as the administrative Program Manager for WOOD personnel placed on subcontract programs.
- Monitor technical performance and conduct regular check-ins with staff.
- Lead performance reviews and ensure staff are meeting mission requirements.
- Attend program meetings and represent WOOD’s interests.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Prime Program Managers and Technical Task Leads.
- Act as liaison between WOOD and Prime stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and delivery.
- Ensure each subcontract program maintains a minimum of 5 WOOD personnel.
- Understand technical requirements of each program to guide recruiting efforts.
- Collaborate with HR and Talent Acquisition to identify, screen, and submit qualified candidates.
- Interface with WOOD’s Program Managers on Prime contracts to align staffing needs and share candidate pipelines.
- Provide strategic input to improve Talent Acquisition processes and outcomes.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university AND 5+ years of experience in program or contract management within the IC.
- Proven ability to manage technical staff and interface with senior government and contractor stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of IC mission areas and technical requirements.
- Experience supporting both Prime and Subcontractor engagements.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
