- Deliver on Clinical Labs strategies using technology with a focus on portfolio delivery, process automation, improved efficiency, and sponsor/investigator/patient experience.
- Partner with the Clinical Results Architect to develop, steward, and manage current and future-state technology strategy (analysis, planning, evolution, automation, AI/ML), including financial analysis on total cost of ownership and technical debt.
- Execute on a business aligned technology roadmap and own the technical transformation
- Represent accounts’ interests in LRL Tech Forums and identify harmonies and reuse opportunities to achieve business process or account goals.
- Influence business partners, Tech@Lilly, and leadership in the design and implementation of technical solutions to ensure value creation and reduction in redundancy of technical capabilities.
- Lead the technology landscape, using best in class internal and external capabilities to drive best in class teams of domain experts and technical leaders.
- Provide leadership and guidance to coach, motivate, and lead team members and organizations to their optimum performance.
- Partner across the Tech@Lilly organization to ensure that technologies within portfolio are appropriately supported (risk reduction) and aligned with company future state.
- Deliver Lilly’s clinical pipeline with security, resiliency, and a focus on speed.
- Transform operational efficiency to achieve 3NME.
- Demonstrated experience with AI/ML technology and leading technical teams
- Demonstrated experience with creating short-term/long-term strategy and delivery roadmap in a complex area
- Demonstrated experience in vendor and service management.
- Demonstrated experience of creating unique, industry leading technical capabilities.
- Demonstrated experience influencing internal and external partners.
- Demonstrated experience in leading strategic transformation with a focus on the intersection of technology and R&D.
- Strong leadership, interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to influence broadly across organizations and work effectively across levels.
- Experience in effectively leading organizational change initiatives
- Knowledge of emerging IT capabilities used for clinical research.
- Demonstrated track record of successful execution of complex initiatives.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Computer Information or related field or equivalent work experience
- 5+ years of experience in technology with expertise in related process, technology and user experience.
