- Drives sales productivity and customer satisfaction within retail locations on various products, accessories and services to customers.
- Ensures proper merchandising at locations, including product placement, maintenance, and brand compliance.
- Engages in side-by-side selling with retail associates.
- Grows the division sales performance and other key metrics through sales, training and marketing promotions.
- Develops and manages in-store promotions/sales events, and coordinates with appropriate personnel.
- Creates product and brand awareness for various products.
- Effectively communicates various features, advantages of products and services to customers.
- Model behaviors for store team members and provide feedback and coaching on performance to peers to District/Program Manager.
- Deliver excellent customer experience to clients and customers.
- Increase sales and brand awareness of the client products or services.
- Display a professional demeanor while representing the client
- Serving as a point of escalation for questions or issues including individual customer issues.
- Providing customer service consultation within retail locations.
- Providing positive reinforcement and adult learning techniques to promote learning and skill improvement.
- Maintaining sound knowledge of multiple products and services.
- Attends requested training sessions and conference calls.
- Educates and reviews new product and service offerings with Sales Reps.
- Develops and manages positive business relationships with retail store management and employees.
- Restocks merchandise as needed and allowed.
- Supports select retail outlets in assigned geographical territory.
- Visits retail locations periodically.
- Ability to engage customers and establish relationships.
- Ability to demonstrate selling skills, product knowledge and drive results.
- Ability to speak confidently to various group sizes.
- Knowledge of various music genres, fashion, and pop-culture.
- Ability to successfully lead a team of sales reps.
- Ability to work as part of a team and contribute to the success of a group.
- Ability to work in a changing environment and adapt to the needs of the business.
- Excellent communication and relationship building skills
- High School Diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.) required.
- Minimum of 1 year retail experience in a selling environment
- Proficiency with technology - data gathering and basic computer use.
- Proven track record of sales success in an energetic quota driven environment
- Flexibility to work weekends
- 50%-75% Travel required within the US.
