Kforce's client, a prominent, multi-generation family office located in beautiful NYC offices are looking to add another outstanding Tax Professional to their finance team. This position will offer unlimited professional challenges, a great work environment/culture and amazing above market compensation and benefits. Duties include:
  • Assist with tax compliance process for all U.S. federal, state and local, and international tax returns for family members and related entities
  • Coordinate with tax service providers and monitor tax calendar deadlines to ensure timeliness of all tax filings
  • Gather information for tax return preparations: Federal, state and local Individual (1040), Nonresidents (1040-NR), Real Estate and Business LLCs and Partnerships (1065 & K-1s), C-Corp (1120), S-Corp (1120S & K-1s), Trust (1041), and Gift (709) income tax returns, including multi-state tax returns for ultra-high net worth individuals
  • Gather information for foreign filings and disclosures (8858, 8865, 8621, 5471, 5472, 3520)
  • Manage books for foreign owned US entities
  • Assist with tax projection calculations for family members and related entities
  • Review all general ledgers for family members and related entities
  • Perform research on the tax implications of prospective future transactions, charitable giving strategy, disposition of investments and other significant tax-related events
  • Assist with tax notices, audits and memorandum
  • Assist Tax Directors with tax planning and strategy, and compliance
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting; CPA, Masters or EA designation are pluses
  • 4+ years of High Net Worth/Individual tax/accounting experience within a public accounting firm or family office
  • International tax experience along with trust/estate tax exposure are preferred
  • Software experience must include Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and QuickBooks are ideal
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines and multitask
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law.
