Perform assembly, calibration and test operations for product used in commercial and military applications, specifically for our Air-Dry operations. Air Dry operations are air and gas dehydration and purification systems and associated air handling components such as high-pressure air reducing manifolds, dew point monitors, and gauge valves. Skills include the ability to assemble electronic, electric, pneumatic, and mechanical assemblies, work with hand tools, crimpers and soldering irons, as well as having the skills and experience to test items to Acceptance Test Procedures and to troubleshoot electronic, electric, pneumatic and mechanical devices to resolve problems down to component levels on production and returned hardware. Visually inspects components and assemblies for conformance to product standards. Reviews and understands electrical and mechanical test procedures. Operates and maintains test equipment. Performs complex assembly and testing of various electronic, electric, pneumatic, and mechanical devices. Works under moderate supervision to meet critical specifications. Participate in failure analysis for customer returns. Conduct prototype and engineering tests for design verification. Implement initiatives to improve production efficiency including 5S activities. Maintains product manufacturing documentation. Troubleshoot to find and correct root cause issues. Planning, scheduling, job order release and management Inventory management and material handling. Executes test programs on schedule through collaboration with engineers and third-party test labs. Incorporates changes to improve accuracy, efficiency, and safety of test procedures. High School diploma or GED from an accredited institution. Minimum of 3 years' experience in a test lab environment. Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future. No relocation benefit is offered for this position. Only candidates residing within the immediate geographical area (within 50 miles) of Camarillo will be considered for this position. This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Knowledge of industry test standards (i.e., EIA, MIL-STD) Experience with general electrical test equipment such as power supplies, multimeters, etc. Experience in an Aerospace testing and quality environment.
