- Be the surgeon’s right hand — performing first scrub duties with confidence and precision.
- Anticipate every move in the OR, prepping instruments and supplies like a pro.
- Support second scrub tasks: retractors, suctioning, electrocautery — you’ve got it covered.
- Partner with RNs to maintain accurate counts and ensure surgical safety.
- Mix and label medications at the sterile field under supervision.
- Help set up, maintain, and sterilize surgical equipment — keeping everything running smoothly.
- Assist with patient positioning and post-op dressing applications.
- Participate in rotational call coverage after training — because you're part of the team.
- Certified Surgical Technologist credentials (NBSTSA).
- Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technologist Program.
- Current BLS/CPR certification for adult, child, and infant.
- Deep knowledge of surgical instrumentation, sterile technique, and OR protocols.
- Ability to stay cool under pressure and anticipate the needs of the surgical team.
- 1+ year of experience in an operating room setting.
- Experience in both first and second scrub roles.
- Strong communication skills and a team-first mindset.
- A passion for continuous learning and clinical excellence.
