- Under the direction of the Vice President of Agency servicing, the person in this position is responsible for supervising the work performed by the Asset Managers. He/she will monitor the work output to insure that all regulatory, investor guidelines, and internal policies and procedures are met.
- Supervise the daily functions performed by the Asset Managers. Plan and organize the workflow to achieve maximum productivity.
- Collaborate with the Vice President of Agency servicing in determining staffing needs and space. Interview applicants, make hiring recommendations, complete performance appraisals, and recommend salary increases.
- Train staff members to ensure all procedures are implemented and followed appropriately.
- Assist Vice President of Agency servicing in establishing departmental goals to meet company objectives. Continuously evaluate department progress in the attainment of the goals. Prepare monthly progress and status reports.
- Interact with other departments within the company to facilitate the timely resolution of issues or challenges.
- Recommend revisions to policies and procedures, and at manager’s discretion, implement subsequent changes to incorporate them into the department workflow.
- Authorize routine reserve disbursements, escrow analyses refunds and waive late charges following clearly established guidelines.
- Prepare, plan and review asset summary reports quarterly for their staff.
- Be the liaison for the bank for all agency relationships.
- Responsible for preparing the staff and loans for agency audits. As well as preparing written responses to any findings and for the implementation of any required changes by the agencies.

- Train new employees
- Four-year college degree
- Five years commercial real estate servicing experience, including agency servicing
- Ability to travel overnight at least once a month for Agency property inspections is required
- Property inspection certified
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as a high degree of analytical skills
- Experienced in drafting departmental policy and procedure manuals
- Overall knowledge of property financial statement analysis
- Overall knowledge of commercial underwriting
- Knowledge of legal document review and interpretation
- Experienced in preparing departmental annual budgets
- Background in real estate law, accounting/auditing, or commercial loan underwriting
- Experience with McCracken/Strategy and RECWeb loan loan servicing systems
- Efficient in the use of word processing, spreadsheet, and email software, such as Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
