Job Title: Health Insurance Enrollment Project Coordinator
Location: Phoenix, AZ (Hybrid)
Duration: 6 MonthsPosition OverviewWe are seeking a Project Coordinator to support the Healthy Start program in South Phoenix. This role focuses on outreach, enrollment, health education, and connecting at-risk families to essential community resources. The ideal candidate will have experience working with maternal/child health and a passion for serving diverse populations.Key ResponsibilitiesRecruit and enroll eligible families into Healthy Start services.Provide referrals, resources, and non-medical support to program participants.Partner with community agencies and healthcare providers to ensure family needs are met.Conduct follow-ups and maintain accurate documentation.Participate in community outreach, presentations, and education activities.QualificationsRequired:High school diploma or GED.2+ years of experience in maternal/child health, social services, or related programs (WIC, Head Start, home visiting).Valid Arizona driver’s license, reliable transportation, and ability to pass background screening.CPR and First Aid certification (or ability to obtain within 6 months).Preferred:Experience in perinatal health care.College coursework in public/community health.Bilingual (English/Spanish).Community Health Worker certification or eligibility within 6 months.Skills & AbilitiesStrong knowledge of maternal/child and community health.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Ability to build trust with diverse families.Proficient in data entry, reporting, and email correspondence.Flexible to attend occasional evenings/weekend outreach events.
