Adecco is looking to hire an experienced CNC Programmer for their Client in Montebello, Ca.Key Responsibilities Include:Collaborates with engineering on building prototypesLeads and/or Assists in the design and development of machine toolingProficient in set up and operation of Turrets, Laser, Panel Bender, SafanFirst article inspectionAdjusts machine settings to operate machinery in accordance with established proceduresCommunicate machine operation or parts defectsIn collaboration with the Fabrication Manager makes decisions on spending needs for the machine shop equipmentAssists Machine Operators answering questions and solving problemsIdentify tool and die issues and perform repair (sharpening) and replacement of tool & dieObserves operation of machine and verifies conformance of formed or cut workpiece to specifications, using measuring instruments, such as fixed gauges, calipers, and micrometersSources and obtains quotes on machine shop tooling needsLeads and Supports training and preparing bench strengthEnsures that all IMS Standards are maintained and followedHas responsibility for scrap control and reductionReview production schedule for turret and laser and maximize sheet metal yieldRuns simulations for new routings and bill of materials for costing purposesMaintain cleanliness of workstationsAbility to operate electric pallet jack and hand pallet jackRequirements:Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in a role with equivalent experience. Preferably in a fast-paced organization with an international presence.
