
Walser Kia Parts Counterperson

- Check in orders, pull orders, and put stock orders away
- Look up parts in catalog, create quotes or invoices as needed
- Create special order requests for parts not in stock and/or acquire in town if possible
- Monitor special orders, upgrade parts if backorder
- Keep good communication with customers, both internal and external
- Actively do cycle counts on the inventory
- Assist the manager with damage/shortage claims with the manufacturer
- Deliver parts to the Technicians
- Set up parts deliveries for wholesale customers
- Assist all customers in a friendly, professional, and efficient manner
- Scrap warranty and/or obsolete parts
- Embrace and exhibit Walser CORE values
- All other duties, tasks and/or projects as assigned
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Capability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, and commissions.
- Experience with auto parts sales (preferred)
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- High level of detail orientation and accuracy while having the ability to multi-task, handle frequent interruptions, and shifting priorities.
- Proven experience working alone and within a team environment.
- Familiarity with using Microsoft Office and being able to utilize other computer programs as needed.
- This position will require you to move around the dealership and is not limited to sitting, standing, reaching, bending, and lifting.
