- Diagnoses problems and performs general repairs/maintenance to include but not limited to, electrical, painting, carpentry and plumbing
- Assists with projects which may include light janitorial duties, landscape maintenance, snow removal and movement of furniture
- Ensures proper fire extinguisher and water temperature inspections are completed and documented
- Utilizes and maintains the work order tracking system, ensure work orders are completed accurately and timely
- Conducts periodic inspections of all safety equipment to ensure they are in working order.
- Performs painting (interior and exterior) and cleaning
- Maintains an inventory of agency tools and supplies, including the tool log book
- Complete open and closing duties which may include snow removal and salting at various properties when needed.
- Maintains effective customer service and working relationships with staff, departments and individuals
- Effective written and verbal communication skills

- Must possess a valid NYS Driver's License that meets agency driver standards.
