Our mission is to improve health outcomes by delivering innovative, patient-centered care.We are seeking a Financial Analyst to provide support to our Finance team!Position Summary:
The Financial Analyst plays a critical role in supporting the financial health and strategic decision-making of the organization. This individual will be responsible for conducting financial analyses, building pro formas, and working closely with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and the revenue cycle team. A key area of focus will be evaluating and tracking revenue per patient and identifying trends to optimize financial performance.Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive financial analyses to support business decisions and operational efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain pro formas for new services, programs, or capital expenditures.
  • Partner with the revenue cycle team to analyze and interpret revenue-related data, including reimbursement trends and payer mix.
  • Monitor and evaluate revenue per patient, identifying variances and recommending corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with the Accounting team and Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) teams to ensure accurate and timely processing and reconciliations of AP and AR.
  • Assist in the monthly close process, preparing journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analyses.
  • Prepare and present reports, dashboards, and financial summaries for leadership and key stakeholders.
  • Support budget development and forecasting activities.
  • Identify process improvements and opportunities for cost savings or revenue enhancement.
  • Ensure compliance with financial policies, internal controls, and healthcare regulations.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Participate in special HR projects and support other functions as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (required).
  • 3+ years of experience in financial analysis, preferably within a healthcare environment.
  • Strong understanding of revenue cycle processes, including AR and AP.
  • Advanced Excel skills and proficiency with financial modeling and analysis.
  • Experience with ERP systems and financial reporting tools (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, Epic, etc.).
  • Multi-entity experience.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
