- Work directly with team members and clients to develop long standing relationships that enhance client satisfaction and fuel the sales process
- Build rapport among customers to establish a strong network of clientele and prospects
- Provide continued training and support to sales staff and assist in closing deals
- Facilitate regular sales training for continued team growth
- Demonstrate leadership by setting a clear vision and goals for the sales team to achieve targeted performance in new and used vehicle sales, being a pacesetter with client care, and profit
- Engage and motivate the team to achieve key goals, performance expectations and best practice processes
- Drive business through a high-level of involvement in day-to-day operations with associates and clients
- Manage the negotiation process with sales team members ensuring that clients understand their vehicle purchase options and pricing
- Partner with General Manager and/or General Sales Manager to plan and manage new and used vehicle inventory
- Analyze business metrics to determine shortfalls, create, and implement action plans to elevate performance
- Automotive dealership sales management experience required
- Proven success in auto retail sales
- Proven leadership ability to mentor and train others
- Superior communication and client care skills
- Must have ability and acumen to train a sales team and operate within a collaborative environment
- Enthusiastic personality with high-energy attitude
- Ability to boost morale during the sales workday and enhance profitability
- Organizational and follow-up skills using Client Relation Management tool
- Experience and desire to work with technology
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Must have clean driving record and valid driver’s license
- Willing to submit to a pre-employment background check and drug screen
