- Market Research: Conducting market research to identify potential clients and industry trends. This could involve analyzing competitors, market segments, and potential target markets.
- Lead Generation: Assisting in the generation of leads through various channels such as cold calling, email campaigns, networking events, and social media outreach.
- Prospecting: Identifying and qualifying potential clients or leads based on specific criteria set by the sales team. This may involve researching companies, understanding their needs, and assessing their fit for the consulting services offered.
- Client Communication: Assisting in the communication with clients or prospective clients. This may involve drafting emails, making phone calls, scheduling meetings, and following up on inquiries.
- Sales Support: Providing support to the sales team in preparing sales presentations, proposals, and contracts. This could involve gathering relevant information, creating presentations, and ensuring all necessary documentation is complete.
- HubSpot Management: Updating and maintaining HubSpot (CRM) system with accurate and up-to-date information on leads, deals, prospects, and clients.
- Sales Analytics: Assisting in analyzing sales data and performance metrics to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement. This could involve preparing reports, dashboards, and presentations for the sales team and management.
- Education: Expected to be pursuing a degree in a relevant field such as business administration, marketing, sales, information systems, or cybersecurity. Ideally looking for a candidate in their 3rd year (Junior) or rising into their 4th year (Senior) at school
- Understanding of Cybersecurity: While not always mandatory, having a basic understanding of cybersecurity concepts and/or industry trends would be beneficial.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for effectively interacting with colleagues, leadership, and clients.
- Sales Skills: Some basic sales skills such as prospecting, cold calling, lead generation, and customer relationship management are important, but not required. Interns may be expected to assist with sales activities such as preparing sales pitches, creating presentations, and conducting market research.
