A professional organization in Brooklyn is seeking a skilled and motivated HR Generalist to manage a broad range of human resources functions, including hiring, onboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, compliance, and organizational development. This full-time role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with a solid foundation in HR practices and a passion for building positive workplace culture.The HR Generalist will serve as a key member of the team, supporting staff across departments and collaborating with leadership to ensure compliance, efficiency, and employee satisfaction.Responsibilities Include:Managing the hiring process and overseeing onboarding and new hire orientationAddressing employee concerns to foster a positive and inclusive environmentAdministering benefits programs, including health insurance, HSA, pension, and retirement plansSupporting performance evaluations and coordinating annual training programs (OSHA, Compliance, Pharmaceutical)Ensuring all HR activities remain compliant with employment laws and internal policiesMaintaining accurate employee records and generating HR reportsMonitoring HR metrics such as retention, turnover, and staffing needsSupporting strategic staffing plans and provider incentive program trackingLeading internal communications and employee recognition effortsConducting exit interviews and assisting with additional HR initiatives as neededIdeal Qualifications:Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment law, and compliance standardsExperience in benefits administration and employee relationsAbility to analyze HR data and present actionable insightsExcellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skillsPrior experience in healthcare or a regulated environment is a plusAdditional Info:Full-time, on-site position in BrooklynSchedule: Monday–Thursday 9:00 AM–5:00 PM; Friday 9:00 AM–1:00 PMThis is a great opportunity for a motivated HR professional to take on a meaningful and diverse role within a mission-driven organization.Salary : $60k - $80k/YearTo apply, please send your resume to Chaya@bhirednyc.com
