
Project Manager

- Assist project managers to manage various sized electric utility design engineering projects for public-owned and investor-owned electric utilities.
- Accept responsibility for overall project performance and reporting.
- Ensure project costs, schedule and scope are managed, including the development of recovery plans with a focus on change management, to stay within approved limits.
- Communicate with clients, internal project teams, multiple engineering disciplines, functional leaders, subcontractors, and support personnel.
- Create and maintain resource loaded schedules.
- Coordinate with Engineering Leads to track and execute client deliverables.
- Assist with the preparation of bid documents, cost estimates and responses to Requests for Proposal.
- Complete monthly client invoicing, accruals, and accounts receivable within prescribed time frames.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, Finance or related discipline is required.
- 1+ year of demonstrated experience in project management and/or project coordinating.
- Must be capable of planning, organizing, directing, and tracking technical efforts on assigned tasks.
- Must be capable of tracking cost and schedule status of assigned tasks.
- Ability to take direction from and discuss decisions with the direct supervisor, and to coordinate with project team members.
- Experience with MS Office Software (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be able to interact with customer representatives in an effective manner.
- Candidates must be able to report to local office locations on an as-needed basis.
