KAIROS, Inc. is searching for an energetic, experienced, and highly motivated Training Analyst, Journeyman to join our team.Established in July 2013, KAIROS, Inc. is a growing Woman Owned Small Business (WOSB) providing full life cycle Cybersecurity, Program Management, Engineering, Logistics, Additive Manufacturing, and Training and Education services focused on optimizing customers’ program performance and mission through proven methodologies and ethical practices. We offer competitive salaries and benefits with outstanding growth potential.This position will support the IC2&IS division located at NAWCAD WOLF.Primary Duties:
  • Analyze training needs to develop new training programs or modify and improve existing programs. through surveys, interviews with employees, focus groups, or consultation with managers, instructors, or customer representatives.
  • Confer with management and conduct surveys to identify training needs based on projected production processes, changes, and other factors.
  • Design, develop, and organize training manuals, multimedia visual aids, testing and evaluation procedures, and other educational materials.
  • Evaluate modes of training delivery to optimize training effectiveness, training costs, or environmental impacts.
  • Plan, develop, and provide training and staff development programs, using knowledge of the effectiveness of methods such as classroom training, demonstrations, on-the-job training, meetings, conferences, and workshops.
  • Conduct or arrange for ongoing technical training and personal development classes for staff members.
  • Evaluate instructor performance and the effectiveness of training programs, providing recommendations for improvement.
  • Monitor, evaluate, or record training activities or program effectiveness.
Skills and Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of principles, methods, and models (i.e., Adult Learning Theory, ADDIE, Bloom’s Taxonomy), and the measurement of training effects for full spectrum (Instructor Led, Virtual, Computer Based) curriculum and training design and development.
  • Demonstrated application of teaching and instruction skills for individuals and groups.
  • Microsoft Office suite proficiency, i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, OneNote, Forms, OneDrive)
  • Adobe Captivate proficiency
  • Self-starter, highly motivated, strong work ethic with a commitment to quality
  • Ability to work within a challenging, fast-paced, independent, and team-oriented environment
  • Ability to multitask and meet competing, deliverable deadlines
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytics and documentation skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to provide clear status and/or communicate challenges
  • Ability to adapt to evolving technology
​Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably in Instructional Design, Education, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • At least three (3) years of related experience.
Clearance:
This position is subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. In order to complete the requirements for government security clearance investigation, you must be a U.S. Citizen and be able to complete the full background investigation. This position requires an Active Secret Security Clearance.While skills, education, and experience are key factors, they are not the sole determinants of salary. Other determining factors include, but are not limited to, location, contract budgets and requirements, and government labor category guidelines. The estimated salary range for this position is $60,000.00 to $85,000.00.
