- Greeting members and guests and assisting with their needs.
- Assisting in supervising repairs and maintenance of all mechanic and motorized equipment.
- Training equipment operators in safe and efficient operation and care.
- Assisting in supervising and maintaining pumps, irrigation, and drainage systems.
- Supervising daily preparation of the golf course, including mowing, course set up, tee markers, hazard stakes, and out-of-bounds markers.
- Performing sprayer and fertilizer spreader calibration.
- Assisting in chemical/fertilizer applications.
- Inspecting turf, shrubs, and other outdoor Club areas to assess pesticide/fertilizer needs and applying as necessary.
- Responding proactively to member needs.
- Maintaining inventory of products, chemical storage areas, and mixing areas in compliance with state regulations.
- Performing preventative maintenance on all equipment as appropriate.
- Representing the club professionally.
- Maintaining accurate records on equipment and chemical/fertilizer.
- Training and enforcing safety policies and procedures.
- Following safety guidelines and generally practicing behavior that ensures safety.
- Complying with departmental grooming standards.
- Working various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Complying with departmental and Club policies and procedures.
- Performing all other assigned duties.
- 1-2 years of Golf Course Maintenance experience, with preferred people management experience.
- A 2–4 year degree in Agronomy, Horticulture, Plant and Soil Sciences, or a similar field.
- Salary is commensurate upon experience.
- Must be able to achieve a Georgia pesticide license (group 24) within 6 months of hire.
- Working knowledge and applicability of construction, establishment, and maintenance practices on golf courses is a plus.
- Spanish speaking skills are a plus.
- Must have a valid driver's license.

- Lifting weights ranging from 1-50 pounds throughout the workday.

- Exposure to chemicals, fertilizers, fumes, and loud noise levels.
- Works outdoors, in various weather conditions.
