Warehouse Manager – Hemp/ Cannabinoid Brands

- Plan, coordinate, and oversee the secure transportation of hemp materials (raw, processed, and finished goods) across farms, facilities, distributors, and retailers.
- Ensure shipments comply with all state and federal hemp transportation laws, including THC thresholds and documentation.
- Optimize delivery routes and schedules to reduce costs and enhance efficiency.
- Maintain accurate shipping records including manifests, bills of lading, and compliance logs.
- Stay current with evolving hemp transportation laws and coordinate with regulatory agencies for required permits and inspections.
- Ensure all shipments and logistics operations remain fully audit-ready.
- Manage third-party logistics (3PL) partners to meet performance, compliance, and service standards.
- Collaborate with transport companies and internal departments to ensure alignment and timely deliveries.
- Coordinate closely with inventory, production, and pick & pack teams to align outbound shipments with supply and demand.
- Track materials in transit and oversee the physical movement of goods throughout the warehouse.
- Support day-to-day fulfillment operations to ensure accurate, on-time, and well-presented customer shipments.
- Monitor and manage transportation costs; identify and implement strategies for operational savings.
- Apply best practices and continuous improvement methodologies to improve throughput, accuracy, and flow.
- Serve as the main point of contact for all transportation and shipping issues.
- Communicate clearly and proactively with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders regarding delivery statuses, delays, and solutions.
- 2–3 years of experience in logistics, shipping, or supply chain management, preferably in the hemp, cannabis, or a similarly regulated industry
- Strong knowledge of hemp transportation regulations (including the 2018 Farm Bill and state-specific rules)
- Demonstrated experience leading shipping projects and improving logistics systems
- Proficiency in TMS, inventory management software, and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.)
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Must be 21+ and authorized to work in the U.S.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work on your feet in warehouse environments
