Job Category: Plant & FacilitiesJob Description:Clean Harbors Bartow, FL location is seeking a Facility Maintenance Technician to add to the team. The Facility Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance and repairs on equipment throughout the facility. We are searching for a safety-minded individual with mechanical knowledge to learn and grow with our team.Shift: Monday through Friday, 10:30pm - 7am; OT and Saturdays as needed; Pay: $23 + plus $1.75 shift differential after training period.Why work for Clean Harbors?

Responsibilities:Ensure Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times; * Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, disassembling, repairing, and reassembling parts as necessary;
  • Testing mechanical products and equipment after repair or assembly to ensure proper performance and compliance with manufacturers' specifications;
  • Basic computer knowledge.
  • Welding and fabrication of necessary parts to maintain working order;
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Plant maintenance experience in one of the following areas: preventative maintenance, installations, basic welding knowledge, basic electrical knowledge.
  • Ability to work on weekends and overtime;
  • Ability to pass a mechanical aptitude test;
  • Ability to meet physical demands of the position, including movements such as lifting, bending, reaching, climbing, and the manipulating and handling of objects.
