Computer Technician

- One year’s experience configuring Windows desktop operating systems preferred
- One year’s experience installing PCs in a network environment preferred
- Experience replacing PC components: Hard drives, memory, network cards, etc. preferred
- Basic understanding of IP addressing schemes
- Minimum of 6 months’ experience in a customer service role
- Familiarity with wireless networking is a plus
- One year’s experience configuring Windows desktop operating systems preferred

- Configures and installs desktop-level software

- Troubleshoots desktop-level problems
- Runs CAT6 cable
- Maintains appropriate documentation
- Works and participates as part of a team
- Resolves problems and handles projects in an efficient and courteous manner
- Adheres to district policies
- Maintains confidential material and information appropriately
- Follows software licensing requirements
- Troubleshoots software in use around the district
- Other duties as assigned
Salary Range To be determined by experience and credentials
Evaluation Frequency Job performance will be evaluated after 90 days and then yearly in MayUpdated 7-18-19
