  • One year’s experience configuring Windows desktop operating systems preferred
  • One year’s experience installing PCs in a network environment preferred
  • Experience replacing PC components: Hard drives, memory, network cards, etc. preferred
  • Basic understanding of IP addressing schemes
  • Minimum of 6 months’ experience in a customer service role
  • Familiarity with wireless networking is a plus
  • One year’s experience configuring Windows desktop operating systems preferred

Job Goal Installs and maintains PCs and other technology devices throughout the district.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Configures and installs PCs and associated hardware
  • Configures and installs desktop-level software
  • Contributes ideas for extending technology in the district
  • Troubleshoots desktop-level problems
  • Runs CAT6 cable
  • Maintains appropriate documentation
  • Works and participates as part of a team
  • Resolves problems and handles projects in an efficient and courteous manner
  • Adheres to district policies
  • Maintains confidential material and information appropriately
  • Follows software licensing requirements
  • Troubleshoots software in use around the district
  • Other duties as assigned
Terms of Employment 12 Months
Salary Range To be determined by experience and credentials
Evaluation Frequency Job performance will be evaluated after 90 days and then yearly in MayUpdated 7-18-19
