POSITION: Catering and Premium SupervisorDEPARTMENT: Food and BeverageREPORTS TO: Catering and Premium Services ManagerFLSA STATUS: Part-Time Hourly, Non-ExemptSummaryASM Global, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities, has an excellent and immediate opening for Catering and Premium Supervisor for ASM Global/Pinnacle Bank Arena. This position oversees the operation of catering and premium services areas and supervises associates in accordance with the Company's Universal Service Standards and applicable Operational Standards.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesInclude the following. Other duties may be assigned.
  • Supervises and coordinates activities of catering and premium services associates on a per shift basis, including scheduling, training, counseling, and enforcing work procedures and service standards.
  • Observes, evaluates, and documents job performance of attendants.
  • Ensures that all equipment is set up properly and operates efficiently and accurately.
  • Analyzes and resolves all problems with associates, guests, and the operation with the assistance of management.
  • Estimates, requests, and inspects supplies and inventory.
  • Ensures accuracy and quality of all food and beverage.
  • Performs opening and closing procedures for assigned areas.
  • Assists management in performing inventory counts.

  • Must have strong verbal communication skills and a professional demeanor.
  • Must have prior supervisor experience.
  • Must be self-motivated and be able to stand for long periods of time.
  • Must be personable and guest service driven.
  • Must have excellent customer service skills and the ability to develop and enhance guest loyalty.
  • Must follow all SAVOR policies and procedures.
  • Must maintain all required certification including ServSafe Manager, ServSafe Alcohol, ServSafe Allergens, and county and state Food Handlers and Alcohol Seller permits.
  • Must be available weekends, holidays, early mornings, and late evenings.
  • Must be present for all major events at the arena and at other locations as needed.
Education and/or Experience
  • Minimum of one year’s experience in foodservice position required.
  • Previous supervisory experience preferred.
  • Must be 19 years of age or older.
Skills and Abilities
  • Excellent guest service skills: ability to adhere to Universal Service Standards
  • Ability to complete required pre-employment food and alcohol service training.
  • Knowledgeable in the operating food service equipment, basic food preparatory techniques, sanitation, and safety issues
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills -- ability to communicate with staff and to prepare event plans.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills; ability to direct the work activities of several associates simultaneously and plan.
  • Highly motivated, ability to take initiative, effectively work with others and work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Frequent walking, for entire length of shift. Constant standing, bending, reaching and repetitive motions.
  • Ability to perform normal lifting of stock up to 50 pounds.

  • May be required to work in confined and/or narrow spaces.
