Catering and Premium Supervisor

- Supervises and coordinates activities of catering and premium services associates on a per shift basis, including scheduling, training, counseling, and enforcing work procedures and service standards.
- Observes, evaluates, and documents job performance of attendants.
- Ensures that all equipment is set up properly and operates efficiently and accurately.
- Analyzes and resolves all problems with associates, guests, and the operation with the assistance of management.
- Estimates, requests, and inspects supplies and inventory.
- Ensures accuracy and quality of all food and beverage.
- Performs opening and closing procedures for assigned areas.
- Assists management in performing inventory counts.
- Must have strong verbal communication skills and a professional demeanor.
- Must have prior supervisor experience.
- Must be self-motivated and be able to stand for long periods of time.
- Must be personable and guest service driven.
- Must have excellent customer service skills and the ability to develop and enhance guest loyalty.
- Must follow all SAVOR policies and procedures.
- Must maintain all required certification including ServSafe Manager, ServSafe Alcohol, ServSafe Allergens, and county and state Food Handlers and Alcohol Seller permits.
- Must be available weekends, holidays, early mornings, and late evenings.
- Must be present for all major events at the arena and at other locations as needed.
- Minimum of one year’s experience in foodservice position required.
- Previous supervisory experience preferred.
- Must be 19 years of age or older.
- Excellent guest service skills: ability to adhere to Universal Service Standards
- Ability to complete required pre-employment food and alcohol service training.
- Knowledgeable in the operating food service equipment, basic food preparatory techniques, sanitation, and safety issues
- Strong verbal and written communication skills -- ability to communicate with staff and to prepare event plans.
- Strong time management and organizational skills; ability to direct the work activities of several associates simultaneously and plan.
- Highly motivated, ability to take initiative, effectively work with others and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Frequent walking, for entire length of shift. Constant standing, bending, reaching and repetitive motions.
- Ability to perform normal lifting of stock up to 50 pounds.
- May be exposed to variable temperatures, including extreme heat and cold, depending on season.
- May be required to work in confined and/or narrow spaces.
