CDM will coordinate sales process both internally (resources, CAC) and externally with the customer including leading a cross functional pursuit team (Engineering, Operations, Pricing, Safety etc..) in providing a clear direction on strategy, pricing, service, value proposition and presentation message and medium. The focus on this position is for expansion and renewal of sales contracts, engaging the appropriate resources to cross sell other service offerings, solution selling and develop a customer relationship with the accounts in the BOB.Essential Functions
  • Develop a professional business relationship with the key buying influences with the account base (BOB)
  • Lead the deal support team in developing the strategy to retain and grow the account base (BOB)
  • Administer SF pipeline and account information (contacts, opportunities etc..) accurately within SF
  • Work in conjunction with Operations on presenting and reviewing QBRs’ with the assigned account base (BOB)
  • Negotiate and close renewal and expansion business within account base (BOB)
Additional Responsibilities
  • Be the point person on initiating and assuring the completion of the CAC through Ryder Legal and other functional areas
  • Work with Operations on presenting QBRs’ in a timely manner
  • Introduce other service offerings (warehousing, RLM, freight brokerage, CM, E-Fulfillment etc..) to the account base (BOB)
  • Adhere to Ryder’s Policies and Procedures including Travel and Expense Policy
  • Perform other duties that are assigned

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree required in Business, Marketing, Transportation or equivalent experience
  • Five (5) years or more demonstrated consecutive sales and customer relationship management experience in prior sales responsibilities required
