Job DescriptionInfosys is seeking a Sr. Design Engineer. This position will interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition and Design; play an important role in creating the high level design artifacts; deliver high quality code deliverables for a module, lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition and warranty; be part of a learning culture, where teamwork and collaboration are encouraged, excellence is rewarded, and diversity is respected and valued.Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering
At least 4 years of experience in Aerospace Industry as a Design Engineer.
Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Richardson (TX) or be willing to relocate to the area.
Comprehensive knowledge on Fuselage, Nacelle and EBU systems.

Design, validation, manufacture, and delivery of aircraft Fuselage and propulsion structure components.
Areas of expertise may include primary and secondary structure design, payloads design, and lofting.
Design of components considering Tolerance stack up, cost effectiveness, manufacturability, and compliance with customer and regulatory requirements.
Expertise on GD&T Functional Tolerance and Annotations
Collaborate with stakeholders - Present Reviews and gate checks - Prelim, Intermediate and Critical design review
Present the solution in the meetings to various stake holders of the customer.
Ensure to meet the agreed schedule with the customer and their suppliers by releasing the parts.
Min 2- 3yrs of experience of Boeing Standards is mandatory.
Experience in CATIA V5, Enovia is mandatory.
Knowledge of Aerospace industry and standards
Experience in metallic and composite structures/components.
Strong oral and written communication skills
Ability to excel in a hybrid virtual / on-site environment in a highly dynamic, team-oriented atmosphere.About Us:
