Control Risks’ Embedded Consulting team is looking for a Resiliency Project Specialist to help support a Fortune 500 client. This role will work across our client’s resiliency program, supporting Crisis Management, Business Continuity, and Resilience programs. The candidate will leverage their background in resiliency experience to help our Client enhance their security program.This role is based in New York, NY or San Francisco, CA.Roles and responsibilities include:
  • Lead the design of various crisis programs, which includes the overall strategy, governance, response structures, and the provision of support for the training and development needs of senior executives.
  • Work across different security programs including Business Continuity, Crisis Management to help develop and launch major projects relating to concerns within the client atmosphere, including but not limited to the US Election Cycle.
  • Work with team leads in the creation of strategies that bolster function-level (such as HR, Legal, etc.) and product-level resiliency planning.
  • Drive the initiation of global initiatives that integrate lessons gleaned from both exercises and actual crises.
  • Innovate new tools to expedite the implementation of new resiliency program management plans and capabilities.
Requirements
  • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A professional with a proven history of working in a fast-paced environment.
  • 6+ years of work experience in an operation, project management, consulting, or equivalent environment.
  • 6+ years of work experience in the Risk and Resilience space.
  • Experience helping to mature a global resiliency program.
  • Experience initiating and driving projects to completion with minimal guidance.
  • Experience being a connector across teams and managing projects against KPIs through to completion.
  • Experience communicating to a variety of audiences.
  • Experience developing and documenting procedures and workflows.

The base salary range for this position in California is $140,000-$150,000 per year. Exact compensation offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This information is provided per California SB 1162.
