Selected student(s) will gain utility knowledge in the Dominion Energy South Carolina Transmission Operations Center. This position is located in Cayce, South Carolina. Duties include but not limited to: outage planning and analysis of electric transmission system facilities; preparing and maintaining operator displays; supporting operator training; supporting various control room projects; and supporting Renewable Operations.Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & ExperienceMust have strong computer knowledge and skills with demonstrated ability to learn and utilize AutoCAD, GIS and Microsoft Office products; must have good verbal and written communication skills; be able to work independently and as a team; must live within a reasonable commuting distance of the assigned work location and have reliable transportation; must be able to move about freely and perform field work; must be able to travel and work outside of normal business hours through the company territory.Education Requirements
  • Must be in the process of obtaining a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited college or university
  • Must have a minimum GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale.
  • Must have an anticipated Graduation Dates of Spring 2027 or later
