Pay Rate: Up to $25.82
Duration: 12-Month Contract (Temp-to-Hire Opportunity)Position Overview:
We are seeking a Tool Room Machinist to support daily tooling operations at a busy manufacturing facility. This role involves maintaining tool inventories, assisting tooling specialists, fabricating and repairing fixtures, and supporting production readiness across departments. The ideal candidate will have experience with powder metal tooling and manual machining operations.Key Responsibilities:Place tooling orders and source quotes as neededMaintain monthly physical inventory of tools and reorder as requiredSupport daily tool room operations and coordinate with manufacturing teamsTrack tool life and perform inspectionsFabricate and repair jigs, fixtures, and Marposs verification rodsMaintain tool receiving and inspection recordsPrepare and inspect tooling for production readinessSupport operator PMs and preventive maintenance routinesAssist with training and continuous improvement activitiesRequirements:High School Diploma or GEDMinimum 2 years of experience in powder metal tooling or tooling developmentHands-on experience with:Manual machiningDrill pressSawingCNC/machining operations (preferred)Blueprint reading (preferred)Knowledge of safety procedures, including PPE use and Lock-out/Tag-outFamiliarity with hand tools, ISO9001/IATF16949, and general housekeeping standardsBasic computer skills (Windows, Word, Excel preferred)Additional Information:Overtime may be requiredDrug screen and background check requiredTools and PPE will be provided as needed Linked, LLC is an equal opportunity employer committed to creating a diverse and inclusive workplace.
