This is a regular full-time position, 40 hrs/week.Responsible for routine analytical procedures in our laboratory.Duties include:

Routine sample extraction of water samples by various EPA methods
Data entry and written documentation
Performing routine instrument maintenance
Preparation of reagents and standards
Manage department backlogs and schedule extraction of samples and projects
Communicate with Project Managers regarding status or issues with samples
Investigate QC and sample failures
Improve and update Standard Operating Procedures
Method development
Training of analysts
Troubleshoot solid-phase extraction issues
Other general laboratory related duties as assigned
May include regular early or late shift and/or weekend duties.

Qualifications

Minimum BS degree in chemistry or other related science field with 3 - 5 years of laboratory experience.
Must be available to work overtime including weekends.
Excellent math and computer skills
Excellent written and communication skills
Excellent attention to details
Ability to work well independently as well as in a team environment
Ideally has experience in drinking water methods sample extractions

Additional InformationPosition is full-time, Monday to Friday from 4 am to 1 pm., with overtime as needed. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Pomona, CA are encouraged to apply.Training will be Monday to Friday from 9 am to 6 pm.Compensation range: $31 - $45 / hour (DOE).Eurofins Environment Testing (USA) provides a compensation range for informational purposes, the actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience and skill set, base salary of internal peers, business sector, and geographic location.What we Offer:
