The chosen SLP will work between two schools within this District. Half of the SLPs week will be spent providing therapy at an Early Childhood Center and the other half will be spent providing therapy at a K-6th grade school. Responsibilities:
  • Provide therapy to an EC and K-6th grade student population between two schools
  • Manage a caseload of approximately 30 students in a collaborative environment
  • Provide direct and indirect speech and language services to identified students
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers, parents/guardians, and other staff to meet the student's speech and or language needs
  • Work with another SLP team member from AnthroMed Education
  • Responsible for creating IEPs, evaluations, and supporting assessments
  • Attend and present in IEP meetings
  • Other duties to be assigned
Qualifications:
  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Professional Educator License (PEL) eligible in the state of Illinois
  • Previous experience in an Early Childhood or K-6th grade setting is preferred
