- Write and maintain Unreal BuildGraph pipelines to support scalable and efficient CI/CD workflows.
- Own the build system, ensuring reliability, scalability, and ease of use across all departments.
- Establish and enforce best practices around build pipelines, code quality, branching strategies, and process documentation.
- Collaborate across teams to diagnose and resolve build performance issues, ensuring smooth daily iteration on the game.
- Continuously improve automation, monitoring, and reporting to maintain high system availability.
- 7+ years of professional experience as a Build Engineer, Release Engineer, or similar role.
- Strong expertise in CI/CD systems and distributed build pipelines.
- Strong experience with C++ and C#
- Hands-on experience with Unreal Engine 5 BuildGraph and large-scale game development.
- Proficiency with Horde (Unreal’s distributed build system) and Jenkins (or equivalent CI platforms).
- Solid knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Perforce).
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to debug complex build issues across platforms..
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work with cross-disciplinary teams
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Experience shipping AAA or large-scale multiplayer games.
- Familiarity with cloud build orchestration (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Knowledge of containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) for scaling build jobs.
