If you are ready for your next professional endeavor in which you can make a positive impact within your community, we look forward to meeting you!DESCRIPTION OF WORKAs a Fiscal Assistant, you will perform standard bookkeeping duties involving recording, reviewing, and processing financial records and documents. Specific bookkeeping tasks entail maintaining accurate and current posting and proving records such as classifying accounting documents prior to posting, maintaining expenditure and budgetary control accounts, and preparing necessary reports for the Fiscal Officer and Administrator. You will also participate in developing and monitoring the departmental budget, reconciling bank accounts for a variety of funds, and any other duties which may be assigned.Work Schedule and Additional Information:
  • Full-time employment
  • Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITYQUALIFICATIONSMinimum Experience and Training Requirements:
  • Two years of experience performing bookkeeping or clerical accounting work; or
  • An associate degree in accounting or business administration including or supplemented by 6 credits in accounting; or
  • Any equivalent combination of experience and training.
  • Applicants will be considered to have met the educational requirements once they are within 3 months of graduating with a qualifying degree/credits.
