Monitor and respond to all security, communications, and fire/life safety system alarms throughout site.
Serve as coordinator of security rovers, dispatching patrols, and receiving reports.
Maintain and log all equipment and keys signed in and out of the Control Room.
Control and monitor the two-way communication systems.
Conduct patrols inside and outside the client's premises in various weather conditions.
Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or any suspicious activity.
Make emergency notifications as necessary pursuant to site Post Orders.
Protect evidence or scene of incident in the event of accidents, emergencies, or security investigations.
Carry out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site.
Associate degree OR 2 years of honorable military service OR 2 years of law enforcement experience required.
Standard computer / technology skills needed.
Must have 1 year security & customer service/hospitality experience.
Conflict resolution and de-escalation skills a plus!
Must be able to interact with a wide range of individuals in a professional manner.
Must be able to conduct patrols throughout shift.
Must have great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout the shift.
Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgement and use appropriate escalation measures.
