Nova Plastic Surgery and Dermatology is seeking an experienced, professional, and organized Front Desk Coordinator/Concierge to join our team. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where you will play a critical role in ensuring a smooth, efficient, and exceptional patient experience. As the first point of contact for patients, your professionalism and attention to detail will set the tone for their experience with our practice.Key Responsibilities:
- Answer a multiple-line phone system, directing calls, and providing excellent customer service to patients and callers.
- Schedule appointments for providers across all locations
- Convert new leads into appointments and ensure proper follow-up on potential patients.
- Maintain an organized, efficient, and pristine front office environment.
- Support front office tasks such as patient check-in/check-out, collecting payments, and ensuring proper documentation.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth daily operations and excellent patient care.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA and compliance standards.
- Associate's degree or 5+ years in a similar role
- Prior experience in a medical front office, receptionist, or administrative role.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Professional demeanor and appearance with a customer-focused attitude.
- Experience with scheduling software or electronic medical records (EMR) systems is preferred.
- Ability to handle a high volume of phone calls and manage patient requests with efficiency.
- Fast-paced, patient-focused environment.
- Must be comfortable working in both Nova Plastic Surgery and Dermatology and SkinLab locations and upcoming locations in Northern Virginia
- Strong emphasis on a positive, professional, and supportive team dynamic.
- Must be available to work weekends (at least one weekend per month).
- Strong commitment to providing a high level of patient experience and care.
