
Project Coordinator - Electric Utilities (Distribution)

- Support Project Managers in tracking project scope, schedule, and budget.
- Coordinate with construction teams to ensure alignment between design intent and field execution.
- Monitor project milestones and proactively identify and mitigate risks or delays.
- Apply design knowledge to support multiple electric distribution infrastructure projects.
- Assist in the planning and implementation of Distributed Automation systems and recloser installations.
- Assess the planning scope for viability and furnish solutions.
- Manage permitting processes and coordinate with internal permitting teams.
- Assist in securing land rights and ensuring compliance with regulatory and environmental requirements.
- Coordinate between engineering and planning departments if environmental or land rights issues arise.
- Ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials and equipment.
- Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to maintain supply chain efficiency.
- Act as a liaison between customers, contractors, and internal stakeholders.
- Facilitate communication and resolve issues to maintain project momentum.
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules.
- Generate reports and dashboards to communicate progress, risks, and resource needs.
- Track multiple projects progress with detailed notes.
- Experience in project controls, preferably in electric utility or infrastructure projects.
- Familiarity with Distributed Automation, reclosers, and electric distribution systems.
- Experience with permitting, land rights, and utility design standards.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, or similar).
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related technical field
