- $80,000.00 to $95,000.00 /annually
- First Shift
- Develop, optimize, and maintain manufacturing processes for display assemblies, PCBs, and electronic subcomponents.
- Drive process improvements to reduce costs, increase yield, and improve reliability and cycle time in production.
- Support new product introductions (NPI) by coordinating with R&D, quality, and supply chain teams to ensure manufacturability and efficient ramp-up.
- Collaborate with design engineering to evaluate design-for-manufacturing (DFM) aspects and suggest improvements early in the product development cycle.
- Specify, implement, and qualify production equipment, fixtures, and tooling for electronics and display assembly.
- Work closely with suppliers and internal teams to troubleshoot process issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
- Monitor and improve process capability and stability using statistical process control (SPC) and data analytics.
- Ensure process documentation is current, including SOPs, control plans, and PFMEAs.
- Support compliance with quality standards (e.g., IPC, ISO 9001) and customer requirements.
- Participate in audits, quality reviews, and yield improvement initiatives.
- Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of hands-on experience in electronics or display manufacturing.
- Strong understanding of SMT, reflow soldering, bonding, lamination, or optical alignment processes.
- Proficient in CAD tools (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and familiar with ERP/MRP systems.
- Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, 5S, and Kaizen methodologies.
- Experience with process validation, including IQ/OQ/PQ and DOE.
- Familiarity with IPC standards (e.g., IPC-A-610, IPC-2221) and electronics inspection methods.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Experience with optical display technologies (e.g., LCD, OLED, microLED). (Preferred)
- Hands-on experience with automation or robotics in electronics assembly. (Preferred)
- Green Belt or equivalent certification in Six Sigma or Lean practices. (Preferred)
