Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site role for a B2B Business Development Manager located in Plano, TX. The B2B Business Development Manager will be responsible for market planning, managing key accounts, executing sales strategies, and providing exceptional customer service. The role involves overseeing sales teams, developing sales plans, and ensuring the achievement of sales targets.Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve growth targets in the lithium battery solutions sector.
  • Identify, prospect, and secure new B2B clients within the floor care equipment or deep cycle battery industries.
  • Build and maintain relationships with OEMs, dealers, distributors, and key decision-makers.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to maximize profitability while ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, competitor activities, and new sales opportunities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including product, marketing, and technical support, to deliver tailored solutions.
  • Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and performance updates to management.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 5+ years ofB2B sales/business development experience in industrial products.
  • Professional floor scrubbers (e.g., Tennant, Nilfisk, Karcher – Professional Equipment, Taski, Tacony, Pacific, Flor Care, Factory CAT, Minuteman, or similar).
  • Deep cycle battery companies (e.g., Trojan, Full River, US Battery, Discover, or similar).
  • Strong technical understanding of industrial battery solutions and/or floor care equipment.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Proven ability to manage the full sales cycle, from lead generation to closing.
  • Proficiency in English; bilingual skills (e.g., Spanish) are a plus.
